Overdose, a magyar csodaló a várakozásoknak megfelelően hatalmas fölénnyel nyerte meg a Kincsem Parkban vasárnap rendezett OTP-Hungária Nagydíjat, ezzel 12. versenye után is veretlen.

Overdose - hátán a világ legjobb zsokéjának tartott, belga születésű, de francia engedéllyel versenyző Christophe Soumillonnal - végig vezetve, legalább öt lóhossz előnnyel győzött a hétmillió forint összdíjazású 1000 méteres galoppversenyen.

A magyar lóversenyzés történetének egyik legnagyszerűbb napja volt Overdose harmadik és vélhetően utolsó hazai futása. Évtizedek, leginkább a legendás Imperial versenyzése óta nem volt ekkora tömeg a Kincsem Parkban, még a korlátokról is lógtak az emberek. A több mint tízezer érdeklődő ingyen tekinthette meg az eseményt.

A hangulat leginkább egy majáliséhoz hasonlított, volt ökörsütés, bográcsos gulyásfőzés, perec, sörsátor, no és persze lóverseny tíz futamban. Az egész napos program fénypontja Overdose futása volt.

A főszereplő május 4-én utazik Angliába, ahol júliusig négy verseny vár rá.
